* What do you need to have ?

* What do you need to download ?

* Where can you download it ?

* What shall i do to make it work ?

so i wonder lantz can you write a Guide for people like myself that dont know to much about computers, I just want to play with my friends on a own server that got this Wc3 / uwc3 mode ?

It is to much work to just write a guide.
You just have to use google and search.
If that is to much job maybe you dont want it as much as you think.
Maybe better to play on pubs?
 
I'll give you one hint though

about dedicated server read: Types of game servers
In my words - if you make dedicated server on your computer then it takes less cpu power but you cant play on this computer (you need other computer to play on this server).

You need to download and install:
1. Metamod
2. amxx
3. uwc3 (there is old version, you can try to find some better)

Read manuals to make it work.
Long time ago I wanted to make my own cs + some mod server and play with friends on LAN. It took me a lot of time (reading manuals/trying to make anything work) and finally I made it for every wc3 mod.

Anyway is there a special change from internett to local network on such uwc3 mod?  Its way good to know because might sett up an local server with uwc3 fast xp during the next lanparty im going to

Tomten ask the same to Lantz69 a half year ago... his server were a big lagg problem when he was in... so it was that annoying for him, that he closed down the server..

 

Btw there was a lot of fun on his server

Like : boots of speed, there costed 10000$ and then Twix banned me for WH =P

"slowy" simply becouse you dont always got internet or maybe the internet is blocked from the place your playing from so you cant connect to other servers than the ones yourself do,

we have 20 computers with cs but no internet quite good to have one of em hosting the "wc/uwc3" mode and play with 19 players.....


Your excused for not thinking of this, bcuz you are after all danish =P
